Our first product, MakkhiChoose, is a browser app that does intelligent price comparison on the fly as users navigate e-commerce stores. Conventional price comparison sites require users to remember, and browse on them to find lower prices. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, we allow users to continue using their favored e-commerce sites, and enhance their experience by intelligently and unobtrusively providing competing price information. With 65,000+ installs and healthy profitability in 6 months (in India alone), we have started well on our journey Price is just one flavor of data; our aim is allow for comparison based on subjective similarity and curation based on understanding of product purchases. We have the requisite expertise in machine learning and big data to surmount this challenge. The founder is an IIT Madras alumnus, a computational neuroscientist, and the author of an internationally acclaimed science non-fiction book.
