Pugmarks is anticipatory content discovery. Pugmarks understands user context - the things he's reading, browsing, shopping, emailing, and in the future - what he's watching; to recommend excellent content - all in real time. Pugmarks is like Flipboard meets Google Now - that builds a dynamic model of the things going through a user's mind, and presents dynamically created magazines on topics that matter to users, in the moment. Pugmarks learns user interests by being a content companion on Android, a Chrome Extension for the laptop - and offers "continuous discovery". Pugmarks is built by an ex-Googler, a seed funded startup from India. Pre-launch users (in thousands) say "they search less on Google", call Pugmarks "a great friend to have", and show "love" to the product. This is the next generation of search.
